Hint: Try imaginary worlds, alien colors, surreal perspectives. Landscapes, but not as you know them.
9th – Practical Evening: Artistic Exploration: Cultural/movement inspiration
Hint: Choose an artist, culture or art movement that inspires you
16th – Practical Evening: Communal Still Life—One Big Story, Many perspectives.
Hint: bring and object to add to our still life display.
23rd – Monochrome Magic—Seeing In One Color
Hint: Create a piece using just one chosen color and white
30th – Practical Evening: Color Matching Challenge (Magazine)
Hint: Cut out a magazine image and replicate it using only red, blue, and yellow. Focus on tone and hue.
May 2026
7th – Practical Evening: 3x3 Media Study
Hint: Choose one subject and paint it three different mediums
14th – A.G.M. and Awards: Bert Houghton Landscape Prize

Hint: Invent or recall a place—real or imagined—and paint it as a small, postcard-sized scene.
30th – Summer Party
Bring some food, secret sketch swap – Members bring a small artwork to be drawn for a lucky dip. Bring a portrait of your choice to be voted for by the group.
